Court case indirectly involving Westminster settled

As a member of PMPA, Westminster was not a party to the case; however, the consortium that delivers Westminster’s electric power announces the pre-trial settlement of an internal legal squabble among the member cities.  The result:  Greer and Rock Hill receive a combined cash payment of $55 million.  Those two members of the power supplier sued, alleging they were paying more of the cost of a nuclear reactor in York County that that which they were contractually required.  Part of the settlement announcement reads:  “….all disputes and cost allocation claims being dismissed, and the current ‘All Requirements wholesale power rate structure remaining in place through 2028.”
