Coordinated approach to filling summer jobs

Employers in general need workers.  And in Oconee, employers can also use teenagers when schools are out this summer.  Dari McBride, executive director of the chamber of commerce, says there’s a coordinated approach underway to connect Oconee teens with summertime work.  Guidance counselors at Oconee’s three high schools are spreading the word about this summer’s opportunities.  This will lead to a student job fair next month at Seneca’s Shaver Recreation Complex.
