Condo project at odds with its insurer

A civil court filing shows there’s agreement that a storm damaged the roofs of a condominium complex in Oconee County.  But apparently no agreement between the Hart’s Cove property owners and their insurer as to which storm inflicted the damage.  Plaintiff contends the roofs were damaged by the storms and high winds by the EF3 tornado in April 2020.  According to the pleadings, however, defendant Nationwide contends the damage was from the hurricane/tropical storm Zeta later in the year.  And the Common Pleas legal dispute arises over coverage dates in a couple of insurance policies.  To settle the matter, a jury trial is requested.
