Comings and goings

Hank Morrow is headed this way.  Louis Carver and Scott Alexander are departing from the public service scene in Oconee County.  A retired air force service officer, Hank Morrow, who reached the rank of major general, will become the new executive secretary to the Clemson University Board of Trustees on October 1.  Scott Alexander, a state worker and a man who probably knows more about an Oconee County piece of history, is retiring as the 27-year superintendent of the Oconee Station State Park.  His replacement has yet to be named.  Yesterday, at the start of its meeting, the board of the Joint Regional Sewer Authority extended a special recognition to the treatment plant’s laboratory expert, Louis Carver.  He’s a 28-year employee at the Coneross Wastewater Treatment Plant.
