Clemson trustees approve upgrades and expansions

The kitchen at the Clemson University Madren Center anticipates a greater demand once the new alumni and visitor center is finished.  The board of trustees will use $3.6 million in housing and dining money, along with an additional $700 thousand, to upgrade the kitchen.  The trustees last week also approved two main campus projects:  a $2.5M expansion to the R-4 parking lot to add 113 spaces.  The lot is across Perimeter Road from the Botanical Garden.
