Clemson students headed for international studies

Clemson University says a record high number of its students will travel internationally this year for studies and internships.  The 27 students are recipients of the Benjamin A. Gilman International Scholarship Program.  Up to $5 thousand is provided to students who might not otherwise be able to afford international study or internships.  One of the Clemson students, JP Paul, is headed for Spain.  He has interest in becoming more proficient in Spanish and immersing himself into the health care system of a new culture.  Paul will study in the classroom and shadow a local physician.
