Clemson residents speak out against “The Hub”

Clemson residents expressed disfavor last night with a proposed housing project in their neighborhood. The project, named “The Hub,” has been met with resistance from the local community. The plan includes the construction of 450 student housing units and retail space in the Uptown District, specifically near Keowee Trail and Wall Street. During a public hearing, the community members made their opposition clear. The Clemson City Council will convene again on March 18, with a vote on “The Hub”.
