Clemson professor snares environmental recognition

The 2022 South Carolina Environmental Awareness Award goes to a Clemson University professor.  He’s Dr. James Frederick, professor and agricultural science specialist.  State lawmaker Robert Q. Williams nominated Frederick for extraordinary work, advocating for conservation of the state’s natural resources during 33 years’ service with Clemson’s College of Agriculture, Forestry and Life Sciences.  The General Assembly established the award, now in its 30th year, during the 1992 legislative session.
