Clemson introduces plans for a new planned development

Once again, the landscape of Clemson will change if developers are able to realize plans for a mixed-development on Keowee Trail between Abernathy Park and Wall Street.  The city planning commission has set 6 o’clock Monday night, December 11 at city hall for an informal meeting of the Planned Development application by Andrew Savoy of CS Acquisition LLC for 450 student-oriented residential units with 1,300 beds and 8,500 square feet of commercial/retail space on 5.61 acres.  The December 11 meeting is the second of three required steps, with a formal city council vote to take place later.
