Civility is a Westminster resolve

Robust debate and self-expressions are welcomed by Westminster, but they should be practiced in a civil manner.  Westminster’s two female councilwomen are credited with bringing to the meeting table a resolution that pledges the practice of civility.  In other words, it’s OK to disagree with your fellow man, but do it in a respectful manner.  Councilwomen Reese and Snipes returned from the annual meeting of the Municipal Association of South Carolina with the resolution.  It was approved locally last night on a vote of all city council members present for the meeting.
