Two hikers who became separated on the Foothills Trail have been reunited and are OK, according to Scott Krein of Oconee Emergency Management.  A combined search/rescue today by personnel from both Oconee and Pickens counties succeeded.  Krein explains one hiker maintained cell service; the other lost it.

Contrary to previous intentions, Gwen McPhail says she will attend tonight’s political forum in Seneca. McPhail is challenging Glenn Hart to be the Republican nominee for Seat 5, County Council.
