A late night Oconee County accident injured a motorcycle operator north of Mountain Rest. The accident occurred around 10:30 on highway 28 near the Low Water Bridge.

Road construction work by Thrift Development begins Tuesday on a section of Seneca’s North Townville Street. The work is to take place on N. Townville between 5th Street and Northside Elementary School.  The road work is scheduled to continue through August 17.
