Fire burned a barn-type, storage structure at mid morning today near Westminster. Chief Smith of the fire department said this fire–origin so far undetermined–occurred on Island Road near Doyle Street. One of the fire fighters complained of respiratory difficulty, was treated at the scene, but not transported to the hospital, according to Smith.

A 43-year old woman died this morning of injuries in a multi-vehicle accident near Seneca. Coroner Karl Addis said the fatal victim in the accident on SC 59, the Tokeena Road, was 43-year old Seneca resident Rebecca L. Glenn. She was the restrained driver of an automobile. State troopers are investigating this morning’s accident at 7:50.
