Car-motorcycle accident mid afternoon Saturday

A medical helicopter flight was arranged in West Union for Saturday afternoon’s car-motorcycle accident on SC 28/the Blue Ridge Boulevard.  While responders attended to injured persons at the scene, the Walhalla bound lanes were blocked in the vicinity of Zaxby’s which forced some highway 28 motorists to reverse and use the Poplar Spring Bridge as an alternate route.
