Car crashes into side of school bus complex

A Jeep Liberty apparently left a turnaround drive and crashed into the side of the Walhalla school bus building, next door to the middle school campus.  Authorities say no one was on the other side of the building, and the driver was checked by EMS for injury.  The accident occurred during the 9 o’clock hour.  It brought to the scene the police, the fire, the EMS, and school district workers.  Chief Will Bates of Walhalla Fire Department said, before the wrecked car can be removed from the building, a determination will have to be made whether the removal could add to the building’s structural damage.
