Camper owner meets wastewater rules–DHEC

The state health agency announced this week that the owner of a camper near S. Highway 11 in Oconee County met all requirements of an order to bring to compliance a camper that violated onsite wastewater regulations.  DHEC this week revealed an investigation that documented that a camper, occupied for more than two hours a day without an approved means of domestic wastewater treatment and disposal, was observed at a location just off S. Highway 11.  The camper owner was required to either vacate the camper or apply for permit to put in a domestic wastewater treatment and disposal.
