Cade Crenshaw — the Wareham Gatemen broadcaster

A former WGOG announcer is having a summer he’ll likely remember for the rest of his life.  Cade Crenshaw continues his sports broadcasting career as the voice of the Wareham, Massachusetts Gatemen, one of ten teams in this summer’s Cape Cod Baseball League.  The players are some of the cream of the crop from collegiate baseball teams who get to refine their skills, often in front of scouts from Major League Baseball.  Crenshaw tells us that the Gatemen are enjoying a good season, now with only a couple of weeks left in the season.  The number one business on the Cape and the Islands is tourism, with plenty of beaches, boating opportunities, and seafood delicacies such as Cape Cod chowder, lobster rolls, and the like.  On his off days, Crenshaw gets to sample the fun, including a trip to nearby Boston for a Red Sox game.  He’s the son of Misty Vinson and Mike Crenshaw, the Oconee Sheriff.
