Bump-up of car and bicyclist near Walhalla

An apparent scrape of a car and a bicyclist early last night near the Walhalla corporate limits on SC 28/the Blue Ridge Boulevard.  In the vicinity of Open Door Baptist Church, around 7:30 to 8 o’clock, the fire department and others were among the responders when a bicyclist headed south came in contact with the outside mirror of a car.  The bicyclist was sent to the hospital to be checked out.
