Bonnie will be 100 on Friday!

A Seneca woman’s friends and relatives will take part in a drive-thru on the premises of an assisted living facility on Friday as a way to celebrate her 100th birthday.  Bonnie Moses is a 10-year resident at Seneca Health and Rehabilitation and, according to great granddaughter Tiffany Jenkins, checked herself into the facility on her own, realizing that she had reached a point in her life to need assistance to live.  Many Oconeeans will remember Moses as a long-time employee of the county’s Registration and Elections office and later as a bailiff in the 10th Circuit courts in Walhalla.   In her earlier life, she ran the switchboard at a Hilton Hotel in New York City, where she met many famous people including Frank Sinatra.
