Beth Blundy seeks to move up

The senior assistant solicitor in the Oconee County office, Beth Blundy, makes official her bid this year to be the next 10th circuit solicitor, covering both Oconee and Anderson counties.  Blundy’s immediate boss, David Wagner, is retiring and the contest to succeed him is expected to attract candidates from both counties.  She describes herself as a conservative Republican and vows “to back up law enforcement officers, strengthen communications between agencies, and work with them to ensure violent criminals end up behind bars.”
