Bench warrants leads alleged drug offense

The arrest of a car passenger early Wednesday near Seneca on a General Sessions Court bench warrant led to an additional charge when the man was searched.  During the midnight hour, defective equipment prompted a deputy to conduct a traffic stop of a Ford Explorer emanating from the Wells Highway.  According to the sheriff’s office, dispatch notified that Brian Keith Roach, 54, of Castle Drive, Seneca of the existence of an active General Sessions bench warrant.  “During the course of the arrest, and a search of his person, a quantity of methamphetamine was located on Roach’s person”, the statement reads.  The quantity was described as 11.24 grams.
