BASF awards four pay raises in two years

For those who go to the BASF job fair today, the employer will offer you $23.50  an hour starting pay for work as production technicians and apprentices with no experience necessary.  The Seneca area manufacturer’s job fair runs noon until 4 o’clock this afternoon at the Shave Recreation Complex on WS 4th Street.  BASF’s John Boyanoski says, “With such low unemployment in the Upstate, companies like BASF are having to be even more competitive to recruit top talent.  Over the last two years, we’ve implemented four raises, and now our starting pay is among the highest in the area for companies like ours.”
