A Lake Keowee restaurant has closed temporarily.  Officials at the Lighthouse say the restaurant will be closed today and tomorrow “due to the ever-changing circumstances of late we feel the need to modify our service in hopes to better accommodate, keep safe, and provide a quality service.”  Lighthouse plans to re-open Wednesday.

A call for a possible broken ankle was a time-consuming task yesterday for Walhalla and Oconee County rescuers. Four people have been interviewed for the open job of principal at Ravenel Elementary School, and a recommendation on who is to be hired will be made to a special meeting next week of the county board of trustees.  The Ravenel principal’s job opened when Angie Henderson resigned.
