Another rescue at Yellow Branch
A call for a possible broken ankle was a time-consuming task yesterday for Walhalla and Oconee County rescuers. For a second straight weekend, the popular Yellow Branch Falls was a rescue scene. After receiving a call for help, rescuers needed 40 minutes to reach their patient and one hour to extricate him. Here’s a plea from Fire Chief Brandon Burton: When visiting natural resources such as Yellow Branch please use caution.
