An additional 981 cases of COVID-19 are reported by the state health agency in the report issued for Monday.  DHEC also confirmed 27 new deaths, including an elderly Pickens County resident.  Among the 981 new cases, 28 are in Oconee County.  The total test results reported to DHEC statewide Sunday were 6,888–a positivity of 14.7%.

 No one was hurt, but heavy vehicle damage occurred in a weekend car accident on Seneca’s 123 By-Pass.  The accident was reported at 4:45 pm Saturday in the westbound lanes at the Pine Cliff Drive intersection.  Involved were a Kia SUV driven by a 53-year old Seneca woman and a 1995 Audi sedan driven by a 55-year old Seneca man.  […]
