Fire broke out last evening at a home on Salem’s Sunset Street, near Crestwood Drive.  According to reports, no one was hurt, but the American Red Cross is assisting the occupants of the home. The address was a working fire fighters’ scene for nearly three hours.

Two dead in Anderson County homicide

Authorities report two men are dead in a double homicide in Anderson County.  Greg Shore, the Anderson County coroner, says Tevin Jeriah Telford, 30, of Anderson, and Shane Michael Ware, 27, of Belton were found at 3300 Abbeville Highway, Anderson around 2 o’clock yesterday morning, and both died later at the hospital.  Autopsies are scheduled tomorrow morning.
