SHS Band stands out in competition

At this year’s Pride of Pendleton Classic, the Seneca High Band took first place in Division 1-A and 8th overall in a field of 19 bands in levels 1-A through 4-A. The band was led by Matt Smith, band director; Samantha Mumford, Seneca Middle School band director; Fritz Wewers, percussion instructor; and Christin Sharp, color guard director.
