Accidents at opposite ends of the county

The driver of a tractor trailer truck escaped injuries yesterday afternoon when his vehicle left highway 107 at a sharp turn near the scenic overlook. Mountain Rest Volunteer Fire Department helped provide traffic control until a wrecker arrived. Late yesterday morning state troopers investigated an accident with injuries at the two-mile marker of I-85 at Fair Play.
