A pickup truck fire last night in Walhalla on the 200 block of ES Broad Street.  The fire apparently was so brief that by the time the fire department rolled its men and equipment, the fire was out.

Local apples part of the free food available today when Walhalla’s St. Luke Methodist Church opens it pantry from 4:30 to 5:30. Besides apples, packaged food stuffs, along with frozen meats, are to be distributed.
