Electric power service in Seneca is reported to be out for a section of the city’s customers this afternoon, after a car left the street and hit an electric pole.  The accident occurred at S. Walnut and 3rd streets.  One responder says it could be a couple of hours before crews are able to replace the pole.

The mayor and council in Westminster will get a late start on their summer weekend.  A special, called meeting takes place at 5 this evening at City Hall.  Among the reasons for this meeting is a review of where the city stands financially at the end of their fiscal year June 30.

Emergency vehicles are at the 123 Seneca By-Pass at Old Salem Road for a crash that apparently involves two cars.  No other details are immediately confirmed.  The accident was reported shortly after 7:45 this morning.
