Lake drowning victim was a teenage boy

A 15-year old boy from the Spartanburg County community of Moore has been identified as Friday’s drowning victim on the Pickens County side of Lake Keowee.  Sahiyd Thomas was on a camping trip with a church group when he went under the water.  Coroner Kandy Kelley says Sahiyd was found about 40 minutes later.  An autopsy will take place today.
