West-Oak has chance to win more games, Thorsland believes

The first words from Oconee’s superintendent of education at the start of last night’s trustees’ meeting were words of congratulations to the West-Oak High School football program.  The Warriors persevered thru two lightning delays and ended their 32-game losing streak at Due West Friday night with a 35-6 win over the Dixie Hornets.  Thorsland said he believes the remainder of West-Oak’s schedule will offer the opportunity for “a couple of wins.”
