James Fant, the law clerk to 10th Circuit Judge Scott Sprouse of Walhalla, has passed the latest South Carolina Bar exam.  As such, Fant is being congratulated by the State Supreme Court as one of the applicants whose scaled score on the July exam was 266 or higher.

A 10-year prison term was handed down this week in Oconee General Sessions Court.  According to Deputy Solicitor Alderman, defendant William Zeth Brown was sent to prison for 10 years for the crime of possession with intent to distribute methamphetamine second offense.
