Attempted murder cases yield arrests in Seneca

Two Seneca men were arrested by the city police during the Memorial Day weekend, in the investigation of attempted murder cases in two different parts of the city.  Law enforcement records show Jonathan Tremain Haymon, 46, arrested on charges of attempted murder and possession of a weapon during a violent crime.  Haymon is accused of biting and punching a female in the parking lot of an East Main Street church and obtaining a semi-automatic pistol used to shoot at the victim while she was inside a vehicle.  Those crimes are alleged to have occurred Thursday, May 28.  A second man, Israel Tamahjea Glenn, was arrested and charged with attempted murder and other offenses on May 16 at Lindsay Road and W. Clemson Street.  The charges allege the 22-year old Glenn used a handgun to fire and wound an individual in an incident in which the victim “had no ability to retreat or flee.”
