At stake if the referendum date is delayed

If the Corinth-Shiloh referendum for a special fire tax district is moved from July to November, it’s Kevin Christenbury’s understanding that the earliest the fire department could see the revenue, if voters approve, will be next year’s tax bills, the 2025 property tax bill season.  And should that be the case, Christenbury says, it’s going to a must that the homeowners and business sector of the district come through with donations to allow the fire station to meet its financial obligations, which include the re-payment of a bank loan.
