Arrested man ID’d as a repeat domestic violence offender

A Walhalla area man remained in jail today, after his arrested yesterday on charges of kidnapping and domestic violence – high and aggravated.  Oconee Sheriff’s Office identified the accused, Thomas Gregory Lockridge Jr., having been arrested during an investigation of a complaint at a Rocky Knoll Road address, offenses that are alleged to have occurred between Monday, August 18 and Thursday, August 21.  After learning that the victim, an adult female, suffered a fractured sternum during an assault, an investigator obtained arrest warrants against37-year old Lockridge.  According to the sheriff’s office, Lockridge has two prior domestic violence convictions within the last ten years.
