Arrest made in theft of off-road sport vehicles
The police in Seneca arrested a Greenville man this week in a one-year old investigation of stolen off-road vehicles. The Polaris RZRs are designed for trail and dune riding. Law enforcement reports show three charges of grand larceny against Michael Jacob Zaagman. The 43-year old Zaagman was arrested Wednesday evening and taken to the Oconee jail. The police were alerted when the owner of a Polaris General XP 1000 called to report that his off-road vehicle left at a Seneca location for service was seen in motion and eventually traced to a trail or power line location in rural Anderson County.
