Are consolidated postal services an improvement?

U-S representative  Andrew Clyde of Georgia says the consolidation of post office processing and distribution centers across North Georgia are a failure.  And the 9th District representative wants an investigation.  In February, the USPS consolidated the Atlanta, North Metro, Augusta, and Macon distribution centers to a new Atlanta operation.  But since then, according to Lake Hartwell Radio WLHR, letters and packages have been delayed or lost, and patrons have complained.  The Franklin County election supervisor says more than 20 voters did not get their requested absentee ballots until after the March 12 presidential primary.
