“AQD” keeps track of proposed large home community

The Oconee group of citizens that strives to ensure quality across the county is monitoring the potential for a new home development that has the potential of 1,900 homes along a two-lane SC 130 between Seneca and the nuclear plant.  The project has been referred to as the Keowee River Development, and AQD’s Gary Owens can be heard today on 101.7/WGOG  NEWS  explaining just what there is to be concerned about 1,900 homes on 760 acres.  And he invites the public to learn more about the project on his group’s website aqdupstate.com.
