Animal care violation alleged at Seneca

A 22-year old woman in Seneca has been cited by the police as having violated rules covering the care animals.  A warrant issued by the municipal court alleges that Jordan Nicole Woerner “did knowingly and intentionally deprive animals of necessary sustenance or shelter.”  Further, it alleges Woerner “did knowingly and willingly leave a K9 locked in a kennel and several cats roam (an) apartment with no food, water or adequate sanitary conditions for an extended period of time without due care.”  Responding to a complaint February 10, a police officer said he found a caged dog and two hungry cats surrounded by feces.
