Criminal Enforcement) team, while on routine patrol on Ebenezer Road, observed a Honda
Odyssey van being driven on the road with a broken windshield.
The Deputy attempted a traffic stop due to the traffic violation. The driver, who was identified
as McJunkin, turned into a driveway of a residence on Ebenezer Road. According to the sheriff’s office, McJunkin did not stop
and continued driving and after driving behind a different residence on Ebenezer Road, McJunkin
got out of the van and ran away. Deputies were unable to locate McJunkin.
As the Deputies continued their investigation, they reported two firearms in the
abandoned vehicle. Deputies said they located approximately 26 grams of Methamphetamine inside
of the van as well as a quantity of Marijuana.
