“Allies” to be enlisted for the cause

If there’s one thing clear in the mind of Blair Hinson it’s that, regardless of changes brought by 21st century life, libraries today still fill an integral need of the public.  The Oconee head librarian and his board of trustees hope to enlist support from key community members to build support for a new Seneca library and improvements at other branches.  Hinson says many of the library trustees are new and part of their meeting this week was spent to bring them up to date on the failed attempts in the past to replace the Seneca branch, now some 55 years old, and to enhance the offerings of the Walhalla and Westminster libraries.
