Addis still mulling re-election bid

A long-serving Oconee public servant, Karl Addis, has confirmed to 101.7/WGOG NEWS the talk that he, in fact, may change his mind and offer for a new term next year as county coroner.  Addis turned 66 last week, but says he feels still relatively young and admits he might reverse a decision to retire and run again during next year’s election cycle.  It’s tradition that in the year when a president is elected, county voters also choose a sheriff and a coroner.  Addis has served continuously since the results of the 1992 elections.
