A Pickens County connection to ex-Trump aide Mark Meadows
A wire service reports that a prosecutor would like the testimony of a Pickens County homeowner as part of an investigation whether Donald Trump and his allies illegally tried to influence the 2020 election in Georgia. Testimony of Mark Meadows is one of a number of testimonies being sought for special grand jury next month in Atlanta. The A-P—the Associated Press—reported Mark Meadows was in Cobb County where he wanted to witness an audit of the election results that were a key to the victory of Trump opponent Joe Biden. Earlier this year the office of the Pickens County Register of Deeds confirmed to 101.7/WGOG NEWS that Meadows became a homeowner in Pickens County when he bought a home in the Cliffs at Keowee Vineyard.
