A new round of Trees Upstate

Duke Energy has announced an action to help save the environment in the Upstate.  This year, at nine locations across the state, Duke’s Energy Saving Trees program will give away three thousand trees.  The first opportunity for listeners in WGOG land will come 3 to 5 o’clock Friday afternoon, January 27 at Clemson’s Nettles Park.  This spring there will be a similar tree giveaway at the World of Energy, next to the Oconee Nuclear Station.  Duke sees the tree giveaway as a way to save energy, lower utility bills, and help clean the water and the air.
