A $50 thousand goal of the Oconee Humane Society

Oconee’s Humane Society says over 50 years it has given tens of thousands of dogs and cats a second chance through adoptions, along with helping thousands more with low-cost spay and neuter vouchers, free vaccination clinics and pet food giveaways.  To mark the 50 years, the humane society announces a fund-raising goal of $50 thousand to help more pets.  A generous donor promises that every donation up to $25 thousand will be matched, meaning a gift will go twice as far for cats and dogs in need.
