What a beach resort tries could work in Seneca

Signs to be posted on commercial properties in Seneca announcing that the property is under the Seneca police jurisdiction will spell worries for after-hour trespassers who have in mind more serious criminal behavior.  Last night at city hall an announcement that, having consulted city attorney Bo Bowman, Seneca will try a program that’s in effect in places such as Myrtle Beach.  Police Chief Casey Bowling predicts that businesses which give his department specific jurisdiction on their premises will reduce the time and the process that they have to go through to effectively stop a trespasser.
