Walhalla drug bust

The Walhalla Police Department arrested a woman for allegedly trafficking more than 250 grams of Fentanyl. Officers from the Walhalla Police Department made a traffic stop on 12/18/2023. Officers made contact with the driver of the vehicle and during the stop developed suspicion that illegal narcotics were inside the car. According to the police, the driver gave officers consent to search her car and then said she had Fentanyl inside the car. K9 Officer “Coss” and his handler conducted a sniff of the vehicle and officers searched the car.  They say they located a large quantity of blue powder sealed inside a bag which appeared to be Fentanyl. Officers also found several thousand dollars in US currency. As a result, 32-year-old Kerri Cheyenne Boggs, of Walhalla has been charged with Trafficking In Fentanyl Greater Than 28 Grams. She was transported to the Oconee County Detention Center where she is being held on a $200,000.00 Surety Bond.
