Oconee County JROTC championships

Walhalla HS JROTC Drill Team competed at the Oconee County championships recently featuring the three JROTC programs at each high school.

 

Walhalla earned overall county champion defeating both Seneca and West Oak drill teams.

 

Walhalla Colorguard 2nd place – led by Cadet Mikey Hicks

Walhalla Squad with arms – 1st Place – led by cadet Adah Brock

Walhalla Platoon with arms – 1st Place – led by cadet Cheyanne Rogers

 

Additionally, an individual knockout competition takes place to determine the best cadets at individual drills from all three high schools divided into two categories – Freshman and upper class).  Walhalla won 5 out of 6 places:

 

Upper-class division

  1. Adah Brock
  2. Logan Johnson

 

Freshman – Swept all three positions:

  1. Brennan Polito
  2. Villegas, Kristo
  3. Michael Morales
