Drug arrest after car stopped near Oakway

A Fair Play woman remained in jail yesterday, on a
$10,000 surety bond, after her arrest yesterday on a charge of Trafficking in Methamphetamine.
41 year old Catrina Lynn Peed, of Arrington Road, was booked into the Oconee County
Detention Center around 12:26pm Monday.
Peed was arrested during a traffic stop yesterday morning, by a deputy from the P.A.C.E. (ProActive Criminal Enforcement) Team, on Mt. Pleasant Road and Leanin Oak Drive, which is near
Oakway.
While on routine patrol, a deputy said Peed was observed Peed, driving a black
Chevrolet car. A search of the vehicle by the deputy produced a quantity of Methamphetamine
inside of the vehicle. The vehicle was towed away from the scene.
Peed was placed under arrest and transported to jail.  Peed was charged with Trafficking in Methamphetamine and Driving
under Suspension.
According to the sheriff’s office, the approximate weight of the Methamphetamine seized during the traffic stop was 25.9 grams.
